New Version of Windows Scripting for XP: What gives?

Just when you thought you'd seen the last release of Windows Script Host and VBScript out comes version 5.7 ...

Microsoft has rolled up many security and bug fixes into this release of WSH.  There is a single new piece of functionality which is a function called "GetUILangauage" that tells you which human language the user is currently using.  Once you visit the download site you can click "Overview" for a Word document detailing exactly what has been fixed.  There is a seperate download for Windows 2000 - linked in the below download page.
