For those of you who are familiar with Tim Hill's "Windows NT Shell Scripting", you understand that he knows his scripting. "Windows 2000: Windows Script Host" is the best all around VBScript Quickstart I have come across. The book does not assume you are familiar with scripting or programming, but by the end of the book you are learning how to create VBScript Classes and Components! The book flows very well from beginner's basics, through intermediate topics and finally into just enough of the advanced stuff to make you productive with the more sophisticated features of VBScript. It also serves as good reference. The sections on objected oriented scripting and VB Classes do not assume any previous knowledge about object oriented coding. I would highly recommend it as a first book for beginners, a quickstart for intermediate to advanced scripters who've used other languages and a bridge into object oriented scripting for those of you who aren't versed in it yet.
