BootVis is a Microsoft utility which monitors the XP bootup process and displays helpful graphs and performance times of the various bootup phases and drivers.

Great for diagnosing what is slowing you down. BootVis also has an option to optimize the bootup which changes the file locations of key files involved in bootup. You can also view when specific processes startup in the bootup cycle.
