There have been some nice enhancements in scripting for Windows 2003! A very good sign, since it seemed for a while that scripting may take a dive to the emphasis on .NET

Here is the Microsoft event description:

"Have you found scripting to be a useful system administration tool in Windows 2000? Well, just wait until you see what's in store for you in Windows 2003. Just in time for the Windows 2003 launch, the Microsoft Scripting Guys provide a preview of coming scripting attractions, including such things as: new WMI classes, methods, and properties; the ability to monitor performance; the ability to manage Terminal Server; and the ability to set security on anything and everything from files to folders to registry keys. If you see only one Webcast about Windows 2003 scripting this year, make it this one!"
