Crimson Editor 3.70 has been released and is now much more functional for those who use it on Windows 2000 or later as it now supports...
Unicode. One of the most helpful features of Crimson Editor is the ability to identify the "syntax highlighting type" of a file based on contents, rather than file extension. This allows you to define many different custom syntax types for one file type such as .LOG.
The editor is slow to load, so if you do a lot of log analysis or editing work, you may want to leave it running all the time.
